Personal Information
In general, you can visit us on the Internet without telling us who you are or giving us personal information. There are times when we may need information from you, for instance: to process an order or to correspond. We may supplement this information to complete a transaction or to provide a better service.

Our Business Partners
We have today, and will have in the future, arrangements with third party service providers, such as credit card processors, shipping companies and fulfillment services. When you sign up for a service we offer on the Site, we may be required to share Personal Information with that service provider in order to provide the service. These third party providers are required to comply with this policy and protect your information in the same manner we do. They are not permitted to retain or use Personal Information for any purpose unrelated to providing the service.
In order to ship and track merchandise, we make your name and address available to such companies as United Parcel Service, Federal Express and the U.S. Postal Service.

Security Statement
Your financial information is safe
We use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders. The SSL encrypts, or translates, your order information into a highly indecipherable code, which is processed immediately.
Your transactions are secure
The order area of our site is secure. Our server is a SSL secure server. This means that all transactions between your browser and our server are encrypted for security. All of your personal information including your name, address, and credit card information is encrypted ensuring that your information will not be seen as it travels over the Internet. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
When you've finished shopping and begin the checkout process, you will move into the secure area of our site. A warning window may pop up to notify you that you are entering this "safe" area. Once you've entered, the page address (URL) will change from http to https, to let you know you are in a secure area. Also, a key or a closed lock will appear in the lower left hand corner of your screen to notify you of this change. You will remain in this secure zone for the entire checkout process.
Foreign Country Orders
For all foreign country orders, we reserve the right to call you. We also reserve the right to request Photo ID, a faxed Card Statement and issuing bank phone number to verify your identity.
Fraud
We have strict anti-fraud safeguards in place and will pursue prosecution for all fraudulent orders.
Effective Date and Changes
This Privacy Policy and Security Statement is effective as of July 1, 2007. Urban Mensch reserves the right to modify the terms of this policy at any time and in our sole discretion, by posting a change to this page. Your continued use of the Site following our posting of a change to this page will constitute binding acceptance of those changes.
